PMP candidates include those who are typically responsible for leading a project within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources. Candidates must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined project requirements and deliverables. The PMP designation following your name tells current and potential employers that you have demonstrated a solid foundation of knowledge from which you can competently practice project management.
